After the success of our monthly Book Reviews, we are now launching a scrap goodies review section. 3 Lucky Smart Scrappers will be selected to receive products to then test out.

There is loads in this kit for the price. You get 3 sheets each of 11 different patterned papers 2 sheets of plain card plus an extra sheet of patterned paper and plain card, 1 sheet of alphabet and border stickers and 1 sheet of cut outs, 1 transparency sheet, 1 piece of gingham ribbon and snaps and washers plus 4 idea cards and a news letter with suggestions.

My first impressions were that this isn’t really the type of kit I would normally go for as I rarely use patterned paper and I love embellishments. All of the papers go together very well though and all of the colour shades match. I enjoyed making a LO with 3 of the patterned papers and I felt this was some achievement for someone who doesn’t usually use them. I am sure I was able to do this because the papers have been put together with a lot of thought and care and it is this that makes them very usable.

As someone who likes kits with lots of embellishments or only embellishments this is not really the kit for me. If I were a lover of using patterned paper and had a good supply of embellishments already or didn’t use many embellishments on my pages I would definitely go for this kit. It represents great value for money with lots of paper all of which co ordinates well.

I have only been scrapbooking for 6 months so it is all new to me.
I found the papers in the kit very colourful & they compliment each other so well. I loved the acetate, I have enjoyed using it for the first time & found it a challenge but hopefully I succeeded .
I would welcome any comments & advise so I can improve on future layouts .
As I am a keen photographer it has given me an insight into planning photographs in the future .
